Our Curriculum Beyond the Classroom
Beyond the classroom
At St Paul’s CE Primary School, we believe in the concept of lifelong learning. We maintain that learning should be a rewarding, relevant and enjoyable experience that is rooted in our Christian faith. Through our teaching and curriculum, we equip all children with knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to be confident learners now and for life.
We aim to give our pupils the opportunities that prepare them for future success in life through our curriculum and experiences we offer.
We believe that life long learning can be enhanced in many ways and take appropriate opportunities that introduce pupils to the best that has been thought so they develop an appreciation of human creativity and achievement. The experiences in the curriculum beyond the classroom are part of St Paul’s planned delivery and support: memory; the development of educated citizens; enjoyment and knowledge.
Below is a map of some of the opportunities that link to curriculum areas that we offer. The document below is forever changing and does not include all the experiences that pupils at St Paul’s experience and all are not experienced annually. Changes are made as and when new experiences are discovered and when those in our plans become less relevant to our curriculum or context.
