One Voice Agenda - 29/10/2024
Date: 29th Oct 2024 @ 9:23am
Welcome back to One Voice! Lets go around the circle and hare one thing that you did over the half term break!
Important dates this week:
- Today is healthy Eating Day- Can you make a healthy choice at dinner today?
- This week is world recycling week, what does recycling mean? How is it helpful for the planet? Do you know what we can recycle in school? Where is your nearest recycling paper box?
- Thursday is Halloween- what does this mean? How can you stay safe if you go out trick or treating?
News:
Well done to Lowry house who were house point winners last term, we can be happy and celebrate them in a respectful way and also hope it will be our houses term this term- how can you try your best?
Discussion- Being safe around school
Be Safe is one of our school expectations- there are places around the school that can feel unsafe for many of our children- where are these places?
How can you be safe in shared spaces? (corridors, stairs, playground, cloakroom, bathrooms)
What should you do if something make you feel unsafe?
Lets all pledge together to try our best to move safely through school.
Share your thoughts with the group and remember to be a good listener whilst others are talking, you might hear something inspirational!
Positive Affirmation for today:
Practicing morning affirmations can help you start your day on the right track. It puts you in a good headspace for tackling the rest of the day. This kind of positive self-talk becomes easier with practice and when you remember them they will pop into your head when you need it most. Can you remember last weeks? (I am a good friend)
I can make a difference.
Thank you and have a great week! 😊
