Eid Mubarak to everyone who celebrated yesterday! If you did celebrate please can you share with the group what it was like for your family?

Active April! This month will the lightest and brightest, can you commit to being more active this month? Being active is one of the 5 ways to wellbeing and has an important effect on your mental and physical health. What can you do to be more active this month?

Important dates this week:

Tomorrow is work walking day, can we all walk to school tomorrow? What would the impact of this be on our community and the world?

On Friday we will be having a Play Street before school starts. You are welcome to bring a bike/scooter. Your grown up must stay with you during the play street. We will be having a special visitor who will officially open our new bike shelter!

Discussion: Our goals

In January at the start of the Spring term we all made new year goals to try and become better at something or to try something new. Now we are at the end of the term it is a good time to think about our achievements.

What has your favourite part of the term been?

How have you worked towards achieving your goal?

Share your thoughts with the group and remember to be a good listener whilst others are talking, you might hear something inspirational!

Positive Affirmation for today:

Practicing morning affirmations can help you start your day on the right track. It puts you in a good headspace for tackling the rest of the day. This kind of positive self-talk becomes easier with practice and when you remember them they will pop into your head when you need it most. Can you remember last weeks? (I am proud of myself)
