This week our question was about Respect, how can we show respect to each other?

Important dates this week:

- This week is world Recycling week, do you know what we recycle in school? Why is it important to recycle?

- Thursday is World Singing Day, singing is good for your wellbeing as it can get your happy hormones flowing! We cant wait to hear you sing at the harvest festival!

News:

Mrs Pearce is looking for more sports leaders, these will be from year 5/6 ONLY. There will only be the maximum of 10 new sports leaders. To be a sports leader you need to apply. You can do a letter or a poster as your application. You must state why you would be a good sports leader and what qualities you think are important for a sports leader. Think about what makes a good sports leader. You have until Tuesday 29th October. Bring it to Mrs Pearce or a sports leader and include your name and year group.

Discussion- Being safe

Be Safe is one of our school expectations. What does this mean? Why is it important that we are safe?

Please discuss and share with the group:

• How can we be safe in school?
• How can we be safe outside of school?

Share your thoughts with the group and remember to be a good listener whilst others are talking, you might hear something inspirational!

Positive Affirmation for today:

Practicing morning affirmations can help you start your day on the right track. It puts you in a good headspace for tackling the rest of the day. This kind of positive self-talk becomes easier with practice and when you remember them they will pop into your head when you need it most. Can you remember last weeks? (I am a good friend)
